(Photo by Chris Stone/Times of San Diego) San Diego County will see below-average high temperatures through Saturday, with the coast and inland valleys running up to 15 degrees cooler than normal in some areas, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures Tuesday are expected to reach 76 degrees along the coast, 76 to 79 in the western valleys, 79 to 84 near the foothills, 79 to 89 in the mountains and 101 to 106 in the deserts. Taking a look at what we'll be seeing for the upcoming week and well…looking quiet! 👌 Inland areas will see cooler than average temperatures with low clouds each night and morning west of the mountains. Enjoy, friends! 😎 #CAwx pic.twitter.com/bx3MH4dkzh— NWS San Diego (@NWSSanDiego) July 20, 2025 Night and morning low clouds will continue to spread inland, reaching into parts of the valleys, the NWS said. The marine layer is expected to persist through early next week, with patchy drizzle possible west of the mountains. High pressure will gradually build back in starting Sunday, bringing warmer weather and more seasonal temperatures by the middle of next week.
